Our Mission
The Seattle Chapter of the Daughters of Lithuania is a small, non-profit organization registered in Washington State. In 1959, the Daughters of Lithuania was originated in Chicago, Illinois to assist needy Lithuanian immigrants. The Chicago Chapter remains our headquarters.
Today, there are five chapters of our organization across the United States continuing to provide charitable aid to many young children, disabled and elderly individuals of Lithuanian descent in the United States and Lithuania.

Charitable Organizations Supported
Our Chapter currently supports Lithuanian humanitarian efforts. These include:
- Children’s scout organization
- Family home
- Independent living for intellectually disabled adults
- Save the Children
